I am srsly stress-eating right now. Yesterday I ate half a huge cinnamon roll, butterfinger bar, two pieces of bakclava, and a huge ginger cookie. Today it was a poppyseed muffin and now two cake donuts. omg stop the craviiiings! 

On the plus side, my boobs are fabulously big. 

A hint of Delicate Arch under the full moon this last July. We had the place all to ourselves, and let me tell you, you NEVER get Delicate Arch all alone. No flashlight necessary, the moonlight led the way across rivers of sandstone to the amphitheater where Delicate is always center stage. Shared a beer while watching the purple mountains glow through the portal of the arch and then danced with each other’s moonlight shadows under it’s impressive frame. A hug, a kiss, a final glance, and then goodbye. Missing it so bad right now.

Hiking Mary’s Peak outside of Corvallis. Finally, back to the real outdoors, though just mere minutes from civilization. And that’s the real beauty of Oregon hiking, the trees, the fog, the overwhelming foliage blocks out any sign of society. And what an Oregon hike! It was fabulous, surrounded by pistol-gripped pine trees towering overhead with ferns, sorrel, and grasses at my feet. Soaking dew immediately led to drenched feet and mushy socks while decorating the flora with sparkling drops.  Of course, we could see practically nothing from the top because of the entombing fog, but the mist created our own little pocket of mountain meadow. Rain jackets zipped all the way up against the chilly breeze that was stirring up even more moisture, running noses and blotchy-red hands all came together to prove with a powerful statement: “Fall has arrived! Fair well sun, now let us embrace the gingersnap mocha!” And that is exactly what we did.
